Due to the anticipated extreme and dangerous cold, the Lake in the Hills Village Hall, Public Works facilities, and Airport office will be closed on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. This closure is for non-emergency Village operations only. Public Safety/Emergency staff will be available and the Records Division at the Police Department will continue to operate as normal on Wednesday, January 30th.
The Safety Education Center is available as a warming shelter (1109 Crystal Lake Road). If you or anyone you know is without power, please call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 847-658-5676 to gain access to the shelter.
Flood Brothers garbage and recycling collection services will not occur on Wednesday, January 30th, due to the extreme temperatures that are predicated. As such, collection services this week have been delayed by one day starting on Wednesday, January 30th. If you have any questions, please contact Flood Brothers at 630-261-0578.
