Travel will be very hazardous and nearly impossible for much of the
western half of Southern Lower Michigan with falling snow and
blowing and drifting snow through tonight. Visibilities will be
reduced to near zero at times. Roads will remain very slick due to
the brutally cold conditions.

Wind chill values will become dangerous beginning this afternoon, and
continuing into Thursday. Values will drop down to around 25 below
zero later this afternoon and will range from 25 below near the
lakeshore to as low as 45 below along I-94. This degree of cold
could be life-threatening to anyone exposed to these conditions for
more than 10 minutes.


Wednesday - Thursday

Dangerously cold wind chills of 25 to 35 below zero will occur on
Wednesday and Thursday along with lake effect snow showers that
will result in hazardous travel conditions
