* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Very cold wind
chills above 3500 feet. Wind chills as low as -25F. Above 3500
feet, wind chills as low as -35F.

* WHERE...Western Greenbrier County.

* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, from 4 PM this afternoon to
noon EST Thursday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, until 4 PM EST
this afternoon, then replaced with the Wind Chill Warning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dangerously cold wind chills can cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. In
addition, periods of light snow or snow showers today and this
evening could result in additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2
inches. The combination of the strong, gusty winds and the dry
powdery snow could result in areas of blowing snow and reduced
visibility at times.

Instructions:

A Wind Chill Warning means that the combination of very cold air
and the wind will result in dangerously low wind chill values.
Frostbite can occur quickly and these conditions can even lead to
hypothermia or death if proper precautions are not taken.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and wind will combine
to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if
proper precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves and several layers of clothing.
