Monday, February 4th: Firefighter Preparation Workshop at the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) Testing Center in Livermore
Are you interested in a career in the fire service? Attend a free firefighter preparation workshop with Alameda County firefighters on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 6PM-7PM at the CPAT Testing Center (526 Commerce Way) in Livermore to learn more about physical agility. Tuesday, February 5th: Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training in Spanish at the Silliman Activity and Family Aquatic Center in Newark
Particípe en CERT - Equipo Comunitario de Respuesta de Emergencia Academia de formación con el Departamento de Bomberos del condado de Alameda (ACFD)! ACFD está ofreciendo clases en español y una oportunidad para residentes a completar 20 horas de entranamiento que incluye preparación para emergencias, seguridad de incendios y control de utilidades, operaciones médicas, y más. Las clases empiezan el 5 de Febrero y duran el més de Febrero los martes y jueves, 1800 a 2100 horas en Newark.

Participate in CERT! The Alameda County Fire Department is offering Spanish-speaking residents the opportunity to participate in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. Participants complete 20 hours of training that includes both hands-on training and class instruction in Spanish. Upcoming CERT sessions begin February 5, 2019 and take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00PM to 9:00PM during the month of February in Newark.
