Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel is inviting community members to apply for several vacancies on the Police Community Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB is an informal advisory board consisting of members representing the broad Davis community. Members are selected by and serve at the will of the Police Chief. The CAB will serve as a working group of community members that will help the police department review and address the recommendations contained in the Final Report of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The CAB representatives also meet with the Police Chief on a monthly basis to provide input to the Chief regarding community concerns.
