Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of woman in Lancaster that occurred on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at approximately 2:10 a.m.
Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to a home in the 44000 block of Cedar Avenue regarding a call of a 911 hang-up/possible gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered a black female in her 20’s inside the location suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect description and the murder weapon has not been recovered.
The incident does not appear to be gang related.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
