central and northeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. Freezing drizzle and sleet will be poss
ible through the day today
with better chances for a wintry mix of freezing drizzle, sleet
and snow tonight. Ice accumulations could range from a light glaze
across north central Kansas to near a quarter of an inch over
parts of east central Kansas. Any snow amounts are expected to be
less than a half inch. The winter weather advisory for north
central, northeast and east central Kansas has been extended until
6 am Thursday. Slick roads could make traveling difficult.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Much colder temperatures are forecast for Thursday and Friday.
Wind chill values could fall as low as 15 below across parts of
northeast Kansas by Friday morning.
