RICHMOND-SAN RAFAEL BRIDGE UPDATE (8PM): According to Caltrans District 4, Interstate 580 Richmond-San Rafael Bridge is now open in both directions. Earlier today, all lanes of I-580 on the bridge were closed late Thursday morning after large chunks of concrete started falling from the upper westbound deck toward Marin County onto the lower eastbound level toward Richmond.
