ORIGINAL MESSAGE 2/8/19 9:14 am - Lower Valley Energy is reporting an equipment failure at the Jackson power substation that is causing widespread power outages. Reports have been coming in from throughout Jackson and along Highway 22 to Spring Gulch Rd. Lower Valley Energy has crews on scene and the are working on the issue. Currently there is no timeframe for restoration of power.
Please do not call 9-1-1 or Sheriff's Office Dispatch to report the power outage. Officials are aware and thank you for your patience.
