Half mile closure of southbound lane on Topanga, just south of Grand View, Mon-Thur, Feb 11-14, 9AM-4PM 
On Monday to Thursday, February 11-14, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Caltrans will close a half mile of the southbound lane of Topanga Cyn Blvd, just south of Grand View Dr. One-way traffic control measures will be in place for the public during the closure time.
Caltrans announced the lane closure for a construction assessment and environmental survey. Several mud and rock slides have occurred on the hillsides of Topanga Cyn in recent months that caused full closures of the highway. The work is part of an emergency contract to stabilize the slope and make roadway repairs on Topanga Cyn Blvd.
All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. Drivers can check traffic conditions before they leave by visiting the Caltrans Quickmap at www.QuickMap.dot.ca.gov.
The town of Topanga will remain open to motorists.
