SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED
THE MAYOR OF THE BOROUGH OF CATASAUQUA HAS ISSUED A SNOW EMERGENCY BEGINNING AT 12 NOON, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2019. IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. VEHICLES NOT MOVED WILL BE TICKETED AND/OR TOWED
If a fire hydrant is located near your property, remove snow and ice, 3 feet in all directions around the fire hydrant and cleared to the street in front of it. Having a cleared fire hydrant enables firefighters to locate and access it quickly in the event of a fire.
Be alert for snow removal operations.
Use caution as roadways may be icy or snow covered.
When shoveling snow, do not throw snow back into the street.
