Just before 1:00 p.m. today, February 20, 2019, Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm call at a residence in the 1000 block of Cambridge Drive in the City of Goleta. While they were responding, the Santa Barbara County Public Safety Dispatch Center also received a report of suspicious circumstances at the address. A delivery truck driver on his route had observed two adult male subjects wearing hoodies and gloves in the driveway of the residence. When deputies arrived, they found the home had been broken into and the suspects had fled the area. A search of the residence revealed the residence had been ransacked and jewelry stolen.
