Wilmington Police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old male after a robbery involving a BB gun.
 
On February 18 at approximately 9:55 p.m., a police officer was flagged down at 25^th and North Market Streets by a victim advising they were robbed at gunpoint. The victim provided a description of the suspect’s clothing, and patrol units conducting a canvass located a male matching the description in the 2400 block of Jessup Street.
 
Police conducted a pedestrian stop and the suspect admitted that he was in possession of a BB gun. He was taken into custody without incident and a silver revolver BB gun was recovered from his waistband. The suspect was also in possession of the victim’s property, and was positively identified by the victim.
 
The juvenile has been charged with the following:

• Robbery (First Degree)
• Carrying a Concealed Dangerous Instrument
