The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a
* Flood Warning for...
Western Madison County in north central Alabama...
* Until 730 PM CST.
* At 427 PM CST, automated gages reported flooding in Madison and
Huntsville along Indian Creek. The Indian Creek Greenway will
likely remain submerged for the next several hours with flooding
in low lying areas. Additionally, doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms with heavy rain across much of western Madison
County that will cause flooding. Up to an inch of rain has fallen
in the past couple of hours, with additional rounds of heavy
rainfall possible over the next 2-3 hours.

Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Triana,
Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight Center,
University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Huntsville International
Airport and Harvest.
Instructions:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
