The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Western Madison County in north central Alabama...

* Until 1230 AM CST.

* At 824 PM CST, automated gages reported flooding in Madison and
Huntsville along Indian Creek. The Indian Creek Greenway will
likely remain submerged for the next several hours, with flooding
in low lying areas along the creek. Additionally, doppler radar
indicated another round of light to moderate rain showers will
move over the warning area over the next 2-3 hours, which will
cause additional flooding issues.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Triana,
Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight Center,
University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Huntsville International
Airport and Harvest.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
