...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Heavy snow and blizzard conditions possible. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches possible. Winds could gust as
high as 45 mph producing significant blowing and drifting of
snow.
* WHERE...Portions of central and north-central Kansas.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change to snow through the
afternoon hours of Saturday, with snow expected to rapidly
accumulate through the afternoon. Plan on slippery road
conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility, with blizzard conditions possible.
