Wind Advisory until 12:00AM Sunday

A deepening storm in the Central Plains and Midwest will increase south winds over a large portion of the Midsouth late tomorrow morning. Winds will veer more southwesterly after the passage of a cold front during the late afternoon and evening hours. Down trees and power lines are anticipated. The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM Saturday to midnight CST Saturday night.

* WINDS...south to southwest at 15-25 mph...with gusts to 40 mph.

* TIMING...from 10am CST Saturday morning to Midnight CST.

* IMPACTS...fallen trees from saturated soils will likely down power lines causing power outages. Travel may become hazardous...especially for high profile vehicles.

* AFFECTED AREAS: OBION ... HENRY ... QUITMAN ... DESOTO ... CROCKETT ... YALOBUSHA ... TIPTON ... GIBSON ... PEMISCOT ... LAFAYETTE ... TALLAHATCHIE ... DYER ... MISSISSIPPI ... CROSS ...
