The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Western Madison County in north central Alabama...
* Until 1230 AM CST Saturday.
* At 613 PM CST, local emergency management and river gauges
continue to report flooding in Western Madison County,
particularly along Zierdt road and Indian Creek. Although
conditions are slowly improving, additional rainfall up to 1" is
possible overnight tonight and will continue ongoing flooding.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Triana,
Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight Center,
University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Huntsville International
Airport and Harvest.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If you encounter a flooded roadway, always be
sure to turn around, don`t drown.
