Today, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office released their findings on the Steven Juarez case. Although this case was a tragedy for all involved, the officers’ actions were deemed lawful given the circumstances presented to them at that time of the incident.
Scot Smithee, Gilroy Chief of Police said, “This report concludes a difficult time for all concerned. Any time there is a loss of life, it’s always a tragedy, regardless of circumstances.”
