Synopsis: A 35 year old male was driving his 2018 black Jeep westbound on Palm Ave approaching the intersection of Saturn Blvd. He was in the number two lane. A 15 year old female pedestrian left a place of safety on the middle island and ran northbound attempting to reach the north side of Palm Ave. She ran into the path of the Jeep and was struck. She sustained a fracture to her right femur and other complaint of pain. No DUI. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
