The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management wants to advise you that a high wind warning is in effect from 4:00 PM today through 6:00 PM tomorrow. Strong gusty winds will develop this evening and peak from 4:00 AM - Noon on Monday. Wind speeds of 20 - 40 mph
can be expected with gusts of 40 - 50 mph possible.
Downed trees and utility lines are possible due to the saturated ground. Use caution when outdoors tonight and tomorrow. Avoid downed utility lines. Report power outages to PSE&G at 1-800-436-7734.
Charge phones and and other electronic devices now so they will be ready if needed. Check to be sure your flashlights are working, also check if your generator is in working condition. The Office of Emergency Management will monitor this event and keep you advised of any changes.
