Over the last couple of weeks, mail and small packages have been removed from their mailboxes and scattered around the community. Besides the central part of Briarcliff, other areas included Pace Bend Road and Judy Lynn Drive.

USPS mentioned that some homeowners are leaving their mail and small packages inside the mailboxes for long periods of time; up to a week at a time.

Please make every effort to grab your mail and packages at the end of your day. If you go on vacation, please go online with the USPS to put a hold on your mail. Also, consider using a locking parcel mailbox to deter thieves from stealing your mail.
