We all enjoy the beauty of San Marino as we walk and run throughout the city.  It is important to be mindful of your surroundings for your safety as a pedestrian.  Running during the day is generally safer than at night.  Make sure if you run at night, you are well equipped with lighting, a cellular phone, and stay in well-lit areas.  If you run with headphones, it may be a good idea to keep one ear available to hear your environment or not wear headphones at all.  Try to walk or run in a pair or group instead of alone if you can.
