                Detective Paul Alkire of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Tyler Shane Inman, 22, address listed as Watershed Road in Morganton, with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon.
                At 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, Deputy David Jones of the Sheriff’s Office and state probation and parole officers went to a residence on Cimarron Drive in an attempt to locate an absconder.
                They found Inman, who is on parole, sitting in a car in the driveway.
                A subsequent search of Inman and his possessions turned up 50 grams of methamphetamine and a pistol.
                Inman is a felon, having been convicted of possession of methamphetamine in McDowell County in February 2018.
