Temperatures across the north are currently between 32 and 34 degrees and will fall below freezing by early afternoon. The predominant precipitation type has been rain mixed with sleet and occasional snow over the past hour or so. The continuation of sleet mixing in with rain is expected through much of the morning hours with minor accumulations anticipated. After sleet changes over to snow, a light dusting of snow may also be possible. Any light sleet accumulations will cause hazardous travel conditions. Thus, an advisory has been issued.

* WHAT...Light sleet accumulations. Additional sleet accumulations of less than a tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of West Tennessee, East Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CST this afternoon.
