On March 1, 2019, at approximately 1550 hours, City of Thousand Oaks Patrol units responded to child crimes report in the City of Thousand Oaks. During patrol’s initial investigation it was learned the 15 year old victim was being sexually abused by her step-father for the past 2 ½ years. The City of Thousand Oaks Major Crimes – Sexual Assault Unit Detectives were called and responded to take over the investigation. As a result if their investigation, A-Ayala was arrested for 288.5(a) PC – Continued Sexual abuse of a Child. A-Ayala was booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility. Due to the nature of the crime a bail increase was requested and granted. A-Ayala’ bail is currently set at $200,000. A-Ayala is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on March 5, 2019, at 1:30 PM. |
