Additional Victims Sought After #LASD SVB Arrests High School Track Coach for Sex w/ a Minor, #Rosemead #LaPuente
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau arrested Fidel Camarena Dominguez, Friday, March 1, 2019, at Rosemead High School for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor and Oral Copulation of a Minor.
On February 22, 2019, an eighteen year old female reported she was engaged in a three year, on-and-off sexual relationship with her track coach while she was attending Rosemead High School, beginning in March 2015. The track coach established a close bond with the victim. He would pick her up on weekends and drive her to his home on the 400 block Sandia Avenue in La Puente, where they would have sex. Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau are handling the investigation.
Suspect Fidel Camarena Dominguez, male Hispanic 37 years old, is currently being held in lieu of $400,000.00 bail, with a next court date of March 5, 2019, at Pomona Court.
On March 04, 2019, the Pomona District Attorney’s Office filed twelve felony counts against the suspect: (6) Lewd acts on a child 14 or 15yrs old, 288 (c)(1) PC; (3) Oral Copulation with a minor, 288a(b)(2) PC; (2) Dissuading a victim from testifying, 136.1(b)(2) PC; and (1) Unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, 261.5(c) PC.
