Date/Time Occurred: March 05, 2019 10:00PM
Arrested: Flores, David 29 year old resident of Oakland
Charges: Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Possession of Concealable Firearm in a Vehicle, Possession of High Capacity Magazine and Removing Firearm ID number.
Narrative: On March 05, 2019 at about 10:00PM the Emeryville Police Department made a traffic enforcement car stop. Officer smelled an odor of marijuana inside the passenger compartment. The officer located an open container of marijuana under the driver seat. The officer also located an unloaded handgun in the backseat with a high capacity magazine inserted in it. The driver, David Flores, was arrested without incident. Flores was booked into jail on weapon violation charges.
