SUSPECT #1: Jorge Antonio Vasquez, 18 year old San Jose resident.
SUSPECT #2: 17-year-old male juvenile, San Jose resident.
SUSPECT #3: 17-year-old male juvenile, San Jose resident.
On March 3, 2019 at approximately 2:09 A.M., a Milpitas Police officer stopped a car on the 500-Blk of McCarthy Boulevard for a traffic violation. Officers found the vehicle’s occupants to be Jorge Antonio Vasquez, and two 17-year-old male juveniles. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car and saw traces of marijuana on the Vasquez’ clothing.
Officers searched the car and found a loaded Smith and Wesson Model 469, 9mm caliber pistol, hidden under the front passenger seat. Officers also located a black ski mask and leather gloves near the firearm. Vasquez was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for possession of a concealed firearm and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The two juveniles were cited and released to their parents for possession of a concealed firearm.
