Synopsis: A 19 year old male was with a group of males in the park at Chicano Park. The group was near the central stage area in the park. An argument broke out and an unknown subject produced a handgun. Several shots were fired and the 19 year old male victim was struck twice. The victim fled the scene and was transported to an area hospital by an acquaintance. The victim was then transferred to a trauma hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his left bicep and his right buttock. The victim and acquaintance were unable to provide any details about the incident. The SDPD Gang unit responded and are conducting the investigation.
