...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 7 PM CST SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from noon to 7 PM CST Saturday.

* TIMING...Saturday afternoon into Saturday night for locations generally along and north of Interstate 44.

* WINDS...West to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts from 35 to 45 mph.

* IMPACTS...High profile vehicles traveling on north to south roads will need to take extra care. Motorists should use caution while driving on area roadways. Outdoor objects could become displaced if not secured properly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
