Traffic Alert: PD on scene for a traffic collision of vehicle vs pedestrian. One lane open south on Newport Blvd coming off the 55fwy, traffic is being diverted to go east or west on 19th Street from south the 55fwy.
The pedestrian has been transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries.
