Caltrans maintenance crews will close the westbound State Route 54 (SR-54) connector to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

Motorists may take one of two options to enter southbound I-5 from the westbound SR-54 connector:
• Take northbound I-5, exit at Mile of Cars Way/Bay Marina Drive, then turn left to southbound I-5
• Continue on the westbound SR-54 to southbound I-5 connector, exit at E Street and turn left to southbound I-5

The following closures will also be in place:
• Southbound I-5 off-ramp to E Street; continue on southbound I-5 and exit at H Street, turn left to northbound I-5 to E Street
• Westbound E Street on-ramp to southbound I-5; continue westbound on E Street, turn left onto Bay Boulevard, turn left onto H Street to southbound I-5
