Synopsis: A 53 year old female pedestrian was walking southbound in the east crosswalk of 1200 Tenth Ave. A 85 year old male driving a pickup truck southbound on Tenth Ave. Failed to yield the right of way and struck the pedestrian. The driver was stopped two blocks away. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. SDPS Traffic Division responded and is handling.
