Auto Burglary – 195 El Cerrito Plaza
At 6:17 pm, an officer reports a suspect broke a window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a briefcase and laptop computer.
Indecent Exposure – 2000 El Cerrito Plaza
At 7:17 pm, an officer reports a male exposed himself inside a business when contacted by store staff before leaving.
Burglary and Unlawful Use of Access Cards – 10636 San Pablo Ave.
At 9:55 pm, an officer reports a suspect broke into a locker and stole a wallet. A short time later, one of the credit cards was used to make a fraudulent purchase.
Petty Theft – 1800 block of Ganges Ave:
At 11:43 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect removed an Amazon package from the victim’s porch and fled the area.
March 6th
Warrant Arrest – 10900 San Pablo Ave.
At 8:25 pm, an officer reports the warrant arrest of a 32-year-old woman who turned herself in at the Police Department. The woman was booked and the released with a citation.
DUI – Arlington Blvd. / Lam Ct.
At 10:03 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 56-year-old male who had been driving while impaired by alcohol.
DUI – San Pablo Ave. / Hill St.
At 12:57 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 22-year-old male who had been driving while impaired by alcohol.
Domestic Battery – San Pablo Ave and Cutting Blvd:
At 9:28 am, an officer reports a couple was on their way to the DMV when an argument ensued. During the argument, the suspect took money from the victim. During the argument the suspect pushed the victim causing her to hit her head on the steering wheel. The suspect was gone upon police arrival.
Grand Theft – 6000 block of Potrero Ave:
At 2:38 pm, an officer reports at 11:30 pm the previous evening, an unknown suspect removed a transit laser from the back of the victim’s work truck and fled the area in an unknown vehicle. The estimated cost of the laser was $1500.
Grand Theft – 10600 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 3:41 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s van and removed $2500 in tools. The crime occurred on 3/3/19 between the hours of 1:00 am to 3:30 am.
March 7th
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 11700 block of San Pablo Ave.
At 7:14 pm, an officer located a stolen vehicle which had been reported stolen two days earlier in San Pablo.
DUI – San Pablo Ave. / Plumas Ave.
At 10:01 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 53-year-old male who had been driving while impaired by alcohol.
Commercial Burglary – 11319 San Pablo Ave:
At 4:13 am, officers responded to the report of an alarm. They discovered a front window was broken. The suspect smashed the window, stole a few packets of menthol cigarettes and then fled.
March 8th
DUI – Central Avenue at Carlson:
An officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and then released to a sober friend.
