Haubstadt woman arrested on drug charge.

On March 29, 2019, at 10:55 a.m. Deputy Jennifer Loesch went to Patriot Superstore located at 2843 West Broadway Street in Princeton to follow up on a possible drug tip. Upon arriving at the business Deputy Loesch began an investigation that included K9 Officer “Ready” and her handler Princeton Officer Jason Swan doing a free air search of the lot. Ready alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics on a black SUV and upon locating the registered owner 61 year old Deborah Tyring of Haubstadt she gave consent to the officers and after a brief search Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia were located. At the conclusion of her investigation Deputy Loesch transported Ms. Tyring to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Tyring was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. She remains in custody on a $550 bond.

Assisting Deputy Loesch and Officer Swan in their investigation was Sergeant Bruce Vanoven.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
