Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Operation
On April 3, 2019, The Torrance Police Department will conduct a bicycle and pedestrian safety operation intended to educate drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians about traffic safety. During this time, several Motor Officers will devote their time balancing traffic enforcement and community education. The Torrance Police Department is committed to ensuring the community is safe.

DRIVERS – PLEASE:
Be courteous and patient.
Wait for pedestrians to cross the street.
Reduce your speed when approaching intersections with heavy foot traffic.
Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and share the road with bicyclists.
