SUSPICIOUS GUNSHOTS 
On Saturday at around 1:00 AM, an officer on patrol on SR 72 near the Fairview Golf Course heard approx.. 15 gunshots in rapid succession coming from somewhere east of his location.
At 1:28 AM, a Minersvillage resident reported hearing gun shots from the area of Miners Lake (Open Pit quarry) and said the shots had been going on for 15 minutes.
There is no legitimate reason for anyone to be shooting at such time.
If you hear gunshots during the night, please call 911 immediately so an officer can respond to the area.
