On April 2, Pomona Police Officers with specialized VICE training conducted a proactive directed enforcement operation on the Holt Ave corridor. As a result, our officers arrested a total of 3 prostitutes and 2 “John’s,” (a prostitute’s client) who were attempting to engage in sexual acts in exchange for money. All persons listed above were arrested and booked at the Pomona City jail.
In addition, we recovered a female juvenile who was only 17 years old. She was taken into protective custody and released to the Department of Children and Family Services of San Bernardino County.
