Synopsis: A 55 year old male, was riding a black mountain bike southbound in the northbound lane of the beach boardwalk. A 27 year old male, riding a Lime scooter in the northbound lane of the boardwalk, at 3400 Ocean Front Walk. As the two riders approached each other, they collided head on. The rider of the scooter had minor abrasions to his knees and elbows. The bike rider was transported to the hospital by medics with serious injuries. He had two fractured ribs and a lumbar fracture. His injuries were not life threatening and DUI was not a factor. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.

Synopsis: A 17 year old male was driving a 2004 silver Honda Accord. A 62 year old male was riding a 2015 red and black Honda 300 motorcycle. Both drivers were westbound 16900 Rancho Bernardo Road. The Honda was in the #2 lane and the motorcycle was in the #1 lane, slightly behind the Honda. The driver of the Honda made a U-turn from the #2 lane, crossing over the #1 lane and a simulated island. The motorcycle collided with the rear passenger door of the Honda, ejecting the rider. The 62 year old male was transported to the hospital by medics. He sustained an open leg fracture and internal injuries, which are not life threatening. Alcohol was not a factor. The occupants of the Honda were not injured. Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.
