Probation Search leads to arrest. 
Folsom Police Special Investigations Unit (SIU) received a tip from a citizen, that 20 year old Poyan Golparast (of Orangevale) was selling controlled substances to people in the Folsom community. SIU immediately recognized the name because in December of 2018, they arrested Golparast for possession of Xanax, MDMA, and Cocaine for sales. The arrest in December resulted in Golparast’s being placed on probation.
On 4/2/19, SIU conducted a probation search on Golparast’s person, and in the motel room he was staying in. Due to items located during the search, Golparast was placed under arrest for possession of Xanax for sale, and for violating his probation. Golparast was booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
