4th annual fair offers connections to jobs and resources for individuals re-entering the community

Tomorrow, the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law will host a job and resource fair for re-entrants at Eastern Star Church. The fair will feature more than 50 service providers, with resources available that include:

  • Legal – brief service and advice for expungement, license/SDP reinstatement, child support
  • Employment – resume drafting, interview skills, HSE/college information
  • Social services – housing information, benefits assistance (SNAP/HIP 2.0)
The 4th annual re-entry fair is free of charge and open to the public. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the City’s Office of Public Health and Safety (OPHS) will participate tomorrow as part of the City’s continued efforts to improve the way individuals transitioning out of incarceration are connected with community resources and reduce recidivism in Marion County.
