INCIDENT: PC 211-Armed Robbery, PC 212.5-Home Invasion Robbery, PC 459-Residential Burglary

LOCATION: Counties of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange County

SUSPECT(S): K'aron Knight, 20 years old, resident of Pomona
Ricky Gonzalez, 18 years old, resident of Pomona
16-year-old male, resident of Pomona

VICTIM(S): Multiple

SUMMARY:
In early February of 2019, a series of armed robberies impacted several communities within San Bernardino County and other surrounding Southern California cities. The suspects targeted communities in San Antonio Heights, Rancho Cucamonga and the county area of North Rialto. The robbery series started on February 10th when suspects in a newer white Audi robbed two pizza deliverymen. Shortly after, the suspects followed a female victim from a shopping center to her San Antonio Heights residence. After the elderly female victim entered her garage, the suspects held the victim at gunpoint, and robbed her using force. Two days later, the same suspects robbed another female victim at gunpoint after she exited her vehicle in the garage of her residence. Following these armed robberies, the same suspects committed multiple armed robberies in the Cities of Claremont, Mission Viejo, Riverside and Walnut.

Investigators from the Fontana Sheriff's Station, Criminal Investigation Division, aggressively investigated these violent crimes. As a result of this investigation, they were able to identify the suspect vehicle, which was an Audi A3 stolen in Beverly Hills. Using advanced investigative techniques, including social media searches, investigators identified the suspects involved in these armed robberies.

Within the last couple of weeks, investigators verified the residences of the suspects and executed several search and arrest warrants. These searches resulted in recovery of multiple stolen items, indicative of these offenses.

On Wednesday, April 3rd, investigators concluded this investigation with the arrest of the final suspect, a 16-year-old male, in the City of Pomona. Those arrested in this matter were 20-year old Pomona resident K'aron Knight, 18-year old Pomona resident Ricky Gonzalez, and a 16-year old male from Pomona. Knight, who is currently on probation for Assault with a Deadly Weapon, is currently being held in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting transfer to San Bernardino County. Gonzalez was arrested for multiple counts of Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and has since posted bail. The juvenile in this matter is being held without bail in San Bernardino Juvenile Hall. All suspects have impending cases in the counties of Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles.
