Riverbank CA –

At approximately 11:30 am this morning a vehicle travelling northbound in the 6100 Block of Claus Rd. in Riverbank veered to the east side of the road way. The vehicle struck and killed a male on his bicycle. The driver was contacted at the scene and identified as Jordan Pomares-Boeh (24, Oakdale). Investigators determined that Pomares-Boeh was intoxicated. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for Driving Under the Influence causing death.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the incident.
