The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT /10 AM EDT/ this morning.

* VISIBILITY...Under one quarter of a mile, including down to a couple hundred feet or less in places.

* IMPACTS...Sharply reduced and varying visibilities will result in hazardous driving conditions early this morning.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NEWTON ... KENDALL ... BENTON ... LA SALLE ... FORD ... KANKAKEE ... COOK ... DUPAGE ... LAKE ... LAKE ... KANE ... PORTER ... WILL ... GRUNDY ... IROQUOIS ... DE KALB ... LIVINGSTON ... JASPER

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
