On April 7, 2019, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Gilroy Police Department received several calls regarding a vehicle accident on the 7800 block of Church Street. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. A female occupant, 40, was transported via air-ambulance to a local trauma center, and a male occupant, 44, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Gilroy Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) and Crime Scene Investigations (CSI) responded to conduct the investigation.
