Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing to assist Arcadia Police Department with a murder investigation. The victim was discovered in the backyard of her residence on the 300 block of East Forest Avenue in Arcadia, on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at approximately 7:00 a.m.
Investigators have learned that Arcadia Police Department received the call of a person down at the location. When officers arrived, they found a female in the backyard not breathing.
The victim, female Asian 76 years-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name is not being released pending next of kin notifications.
The cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
There motive is unknown, and no suspect information at this time.
Investigators discovered the victim’s vehicle is missing and asking for your help in locating it. Her vehicle is a 2005 Lexus RX 300 white CA License plate 5LOG473.
