What a ride! Please join us in congratulating Deputy Chief Hector Rodriguez on his retirement from the Pomona Police Department. After more than 30 years of service to the City of Pomona, it is time to bid farewell.
Deputy Chief Rodriguez began his career as a Pomona Police Explorer in 1982. In 1990, he was sworn-in as a Pomona Police Officer. During his career he worked on the Major Narcotics Team, SWAT Team, the Gang Unit, the Homicide Unit, LA Impact and oversaw the Investigative Services Division and Operations Division.
