At 7:24 pm this evening, HWDPS officers responded to the 19700 block of Damman on reports of multiple gunshots being fired. Arriving officers observed people fleeing the location. Officers gained control of the scene and began an investigation. Officers have recovered at least 20 shell casings from different weapons at the residence and in the street.
At this time, we have no reported victims from the gunfire. HWDPS officers have 3 suspects in custody. We are actively searching for several additional suspects and hope to have them in custody soon.
At least two residences in the area have sustained damage from the rounds fired.
Detectives are on scene and continue the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the HWDPS.
