Winter Weather Advisory | Sunday, April 14, 2019 | 12:15 p.m.
As snow continues to fall across the area, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. today - Sunday, April 14, 2019. Snow fall will continue at the rate of 2 inches per hour during the advisory period. Since visibility could be less than ΒΌ mile, motorists should limit driving during the advisory period. The Aurora Snow Team has been out salting primary roads since earlier this morning and additional trucks have been dispatched. Because of the higher pavement temperatures and melting rates, the focus will remain on the primary roads.
